Export business coaching built around the next decision

You may have a product, several market suggestions and a folder of contacts, yet still be unsure what to do next. Export coaching starts by making that uncertainty specific. The work is to connect a business decision to evidence, a responsible person and an action that can actually be completed.

Begin with the business as it is

The first discussion should establish the product, current sales situation, available resources and main constraint. A structured business scan organises those facts. It distinguishes confirmed information from assumptions and shows which unknowns can change the decision.

The answer may not be “find more buyers”. It could be to clarify a specification, rebuild a quotation, assign sales ownership or test whether a channel is appropriate. The scope of the engagement should follow that diagnosis rather than a standard list of activities.

Turn a direction into accountable work

A roadmap needs more than stage names. Each priority should have an owner, a deliverable and a review point. “Develop the market” is a direction; “document how a defined group of potential buyers evaluates new suppliers” is a task a team can discuss and review.

The plan should be revised as evidence changes. A meeting is useful when it resolves a question, identifies a blocker or changes the next action. Continuing a weak approach simply because it appears in the original plan is not progress.

Keep the working record in Coachex

Coachex brings project information, the business scan, tasks, files, reports and meetings into one working space. It gives the client and mentors a shared record instead of relying on scattered messages. Access is based on the user’s role and assigned projects.

AI assistance can help review available information and prepare proposals. It should not turn unknown numbers into facts or replace the responsible person’s judgement. Client-side proposed actions follow mentor approval before they become active work. The platform supports the process; the team remains accountable for decisions.

Agree expectations before the engagement

This work suits a business willing to share relevant facts and allocate people to execution. Coaching is not a guarantee of orders or revenue, and it does not replace legal advice, customs representation or official product approval. Any direct delivery services and specialist responsibilities need an explicit scope.

Start with a short description of your product, one contact method and the question you want to resolve. We can then discuss whether the work is a fit and what information would make the first session useful. You do not need to prepare a complete export plan before getting in touch.

Questions before you begin

Will a coach run sales on our behalf?

Responsibilities must be agreed in the engagement scope. Coaching focuses on decisions and execution support; direct sales delivery is a separate responsibility that should be explicitly defined.

Can we start with a single problem?

Yes. Describe the decision or blocker in the initial enquiry so the discussion can stay focused.
